Christian McCaffrey’s fiancé, Olivia Culpo, once dated two-time Super Bowl champion, Danny Amendola, and according to reports, the Culpo and Amendola partnership was not plain sailing.
In 2022, Culpo broke down in tears over an ex-boyfriend who belittled her in the trailer for a reality show titled “The Culpo Sisters.”
In her words, during an interview with TLC, Culpo stated:
“I was with somebody that did really horrible, horrible things. I was made to feel like a less-than-human in every sense of the word.”
While Olivia Culpo did not expressly state the ex she was talking about, at that time, she had dated three notable men, namely her current fiancé Christian McCaffrey, teenage heartthrob Nick Jonas, and current Las Vegas Raiders coach Danny Amendola.
Her relationship with Danny Amendola is likely what she was referring to. It came to the messiest conclusion following allegations that the former NFL player cheated on the ex-Miss Universe.
In October 2018, the former Patriots wideout was spotted getting cozy while on a beach date in Miami with a reporter named Bianca Peters. He was still dating Culpo at the time.
Also, Amendola took a light jab at his former partner in April 2019, claiming they were no longer an item due to Culpo’s thirst for the limelight.
What’s the latest on 49ers star Christian McCaffrey and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo’s relationship?
Lately, things have been looking better for Olivia Culpo, as she recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, San Francisco 49ers superstar running back Christian McCaffrey. Last week, the couple announced via Instagram that Olivia had accepted Christian’s proposal while on vacation in Utah after four years of dating.
The engagement couldn’t have come at a better moment, as Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are thriving in their respective careers. McCaffery had a stunning comeback season in 2022, as he put to bed any injury concerns and helped the San Francisco 49ers to a deep playoff run. He has put up 1,139 rushing yards, 741 receiving yards, 13 total touchdowns, 299 yards from scrimmage, and three touchdowns in three postseason games.
On the other hand, the former Miss Universe is bossing things with a successful television show, “The Culpo Sisters,” an array of acting roles, and a booming social media presence.
