NFL couple Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are approaching the biggest day of their lives.
No, it is not winning the Super Bowl, although he came close two months ago. It is time to marry model and 2012 Miss Universe sometime in the summer.
The two have been busy lately preparing for the celebration, and in one Instagram story, the San Francisco 49ers running back can be seen sleeping during the process as his fiancee leans her head onto his shoulder.
Speaking to E! News last month, Culpo shared what she thought were the essentials to her wedding ceremony:
“Obviously my groom. He definitely has to be there. He’s a non-negotiable. I love champagne, so I need to have a good champagne. I love tequila. Great food and then great friends and good energy. Just fun times,” she said.
McCaffrey, for his part, has had nothing but positive things to say to his future wife for taking charge of preparations.
“She’s done a hell of a job. She’s definitely steering the ship when it comes to anything regarding the wedding as of now. It’s been going really well. Obviously, her style is unbelievable,” McCaffrey told Extra on Super Bowl weekend.
“I’m so thankful that I have someone like her who’s not just supporting me the way she is but also handling all stuff like that, allowing me to do what I love in the moment while she’s still working on her career as well.”
As the date for her wedding with Christian McCaffrey approaches, Olivia Culpo recently spoke to people about how her engagement felt.
“I’m so excited. It’s been the thrill of a lifetime, honestly,” Culpo said.
The proposal occurred in Utah, as they were hiking in its red-rock canyons. Their engagement rings were designed by Ring Concierge. Speaking about the design, CEO Nicole Wegman said:
“We worked with Christian to thoughtfully design a ring that encompassed Olivia’s trendsetting style while still remaining timeless — a beautifully cut Oval flanked with Epaulette side stones in a handcrafted gold and platinum setting.”
The date, venue, and other details for the ceremony have so far not been announced, though Culpo and McCaffrey did a cake tasting last month, as seen in this Instagram Story:
