The MLS playoffs are in full swing with Inter Miami kicking off their MLS Cup bid on the morning of October 26 (Vietnam time).

In response to that excitement, MLS has a special announcement for football fans around the world. The league is taking Messi’s matches to a new level with the expectation of the Argentine superstar’s appeal. Accordingly, fans will be able to watch Inter Miami’s first playoff match live for free on TikTok, something that has never been done before.

In particular, MLS introduced an exclusive broadcast on TikTok called “Player Spotlight: Messi” that will follow every step of the Inter Miami captain on the field throughout the entire match regardless of the opponent of the No. 1 seed, Atlanta United or CF Montreal.

According to the announcement, this will also be the first time TikTok has live-streamed an entire soccer match focusing on just one player. Specifically, a special camera will focus only on Messi, updating every moment on TikTok for millions of free viewers.

At 37, Messi has won the UEFA Champions League, Copa America, World Cup and even the 2023 Leagues Cup just weeks after joining Inter Miami. The Argentine forward is expected to be the star of the show once again this time around.

This unique broadcast will begin five minutes before the first game of the best-of-three series and will air simultaneously on both the MLS and Inter Miami official TikTok channels.

Additionally, taking full advantage of Messi’s appeal, MLS will air Inter Miami’s first playoff match for free on Apple TV without the need to purchase an MLS Season Pass subscription.
