Cavaliers Introduce Kelce Brothers Bobbleheads in Honor of Jason’s Retirement Celebration

 

Cleveland Heights natives and NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce were the toast of the town on Tuesday night as they were honored by the Cleveland Cavaliers in their hometown.

The Kelce brothers, who grew up cheering for the Cavaliers, were met with a rousing ovation at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse as they attended the game against the Boston Celtics.

The Cavaliers paid tribute to Jason Kelce’s illustrious NFL career with a heartfelt video montage, showcasing his journey from Cleveland Heights High School to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jason proudly displayed a Cleveland Heights T-shirt, while Travis held up a framed No. 62 Cavs jersey bearing the Kelce name.

In addition to the touching tribute, the Cavaliers immortalized the Kelce brothers with their very own bobblehead figures, which were sold to fans for charity.

Despite some minor discrepancies, Jason Kelce joked, “In person, I look way better than I was expecting.”

Proceeds from the bobblehead sales will benefit the Heights Schools Foundation Initiatives, supporting scholarships, grants, and programming for current students and staff at Cleveland Heights High School.

The highlight of the evening came when the Kelce brothers were caught on camera chugging beers from their floor seats, much to the delight of the crowd.

Known for their love of beer chugging, the Kelce brothers added some extra excitement to an already exhilarating game.

Speaking of excitement, the Cavaliers staged a remarkable comeback in the fourth quarter, overcoming a 22-point deficit to secure a thrilling 105-104 victory over the Celtics.

Led by a clutch dunk from Dean Wade in the final seconds, the Cavaliers outscored the Celtics 34-17 in the fourth quarter, snapping Boston’s 11-game winning streak and eight-game road winning streak in the process.

The loss marked a significant milestone for the Celtics, as their streak was the longest in the NBA this season, with the last five victories coming by an average margin of 30.2 points.
